Be careful following directions

I bought a parking permit from Ace parking for the first time this year and thought I would follow their directions to the Horton Plaza parking structure. Bad idea. The directions when approaching from the North told me to get off on the wrong off ramp. Fortunately I know the area and was able to get pointed in the direction of Horton and followed the directions for a southern approach. Well, the directions led to the F Street entrance, but there I found a sign indicating the lot was full…great $40 down the drain…asking a kind arm waver there, and he told me to go to the G Street entrance – G Street goes the opposite direction – one way. Oh well, I got a parking spot after 45 minutes of driving around and in the parking structure. I suppose it would have taken me 30-40 minutes if I took the trolley though it would only have cost a few bucks.
