Blaugust Day 13 – Fun Television

Big Crazy Family Adventure

I really loved this show and am sad that I watched the final episode last night. I certainly hope there is another season because there are many more journeys this family can go on that would make for good television. In any case, the final 100 miles we spent with the family were on foot. Bodi got to ride a pony for a significant part of the trip and Taj was carried by a guide. We then got to see the place they are gonna love for a few months before flying home to Canada. An interesting part was the revelation that the isolated valley they went to was going to be changed forever by a road connecting it to the rest of India. As they pointed out, there are not many places in the world that are set apart like this monestary. I don't know if I could cut myself off from society the way the Kirkby's did, but I enjoy watching them do it. The kids made this show so much fun, and it was great to see such loving parents spending such quality time with their children. There aren't many shows on television like this one, and I hope the ratings are good enough for it to be picked up for another season. Maybe they can send the family to Africa or something next time.

Mr. Robot

Once again, this show is like watching a one hour movie every week. The cinematography is great, the script and acting is wonderful, and I love the concepts involved. This week is definitely one to watch multiple times though. There is so much packed into each episode that I don't always get everything on the first watch. And I'm certainly not going to spoil things for this great show, but after this last episode, they can go on almost any direction.

It's still not too late to join Blaugust – just go to the initiative page at Tales of the Aggronaut or take a look at the Blaugust Nook on Anook.
