Looking Forward to the Week of March 14

There are a lot of things different about Black Desert Online and so far I am enjoying them all. One of the most hilarious differences is the Parking signs.

I'm pretty sure this is for parking your horse, but I'm not rich enough yet to own a horse.

In any case, this has proven to be a fun game so far.

Goals this week

Last week I laid out some goals in reading and commenting on some comics from the first year of Marvel's Silver age. Unfortunately, I was sick and unable to follow through on them. This week, I'm once again going to lay out some plans on reading from 1962 again.

Gaming goals

As for gaming this week, I'm looking to advance in League of Legends. I've got a long way to go from Bronze V to Silver so I better keep on moving. 57 more LP to get to Bronze IV.

For Black Desert Online, I'm gonna work on getting a horse so I can use that parking imaged above. There's so much to learn about crafting, gathering, things called nodes, and workers that it may take longer than a week in real time, but the game definitely is holding my interest.

I also want to get back to leveling in Lord of the Rings. I finished off the Intro and am headed into Middle Earth proper and I'm looking forward to putting eyes on some of the places mentioned in the books and movies.

So that's basically my plan for the week. We'll see how it goes. My ear is doing better so I don't foresee that impacting me like this past week but I know real life has a way of messing with plans.
