Spring TV is Finally Here

With the start of Penny Dreadful tonight, the Spring TV season is finally in full swing for me. Penny Dreadful, Game of Thrones, 12 Monkeys and Alone make this a great time for TV watching and a horrible time for my TiVo which strains under the recording duties. I’m still catching up on Grimm, Bates Motel, and The Americans, but I’ll get through those soon.

Sadly though, I just could not get into Fear the Walking a Dead – it just grated me the wrong way.  I tried, watching the whole first season, but I just didn’t like it. I think the main Walking Dead has such a rich set of comics to borrow from but the spinoff just seems stitched together from the political agenda of the writers – just not my cup of tea.

So glad to see Hodor as a real boy…Willis.  And he can talk.  Can’t wait to see what happened to him, but then we know Winterfell is not the safest place for a child.  In any case, it was a great episode with endings and new beginnings…it seems like the season is finally starting.

Anyway, I gotta get back too watching…I’m sure I’ll have more to say about my favorite shows as Spring moves on.
