76 Days until San Diego Comic-Con 2016…

William Gibson is coming…

William Gibson, one of the fathers of cyberpunk is coming to his first Comic-Con this year.  Apparently, he has a comic coming out from IDW beginning in May called Archangel that will be drawing him to San Diego.  Reading Neuromancer back in the early 90s cemented my love of science fiction and computers, and I am excited that he is coming to town.  This is another panel I’d really like to attend this year, even if he only talks about the comic and none of his numerous novels.  I just checked on Comixology, but Archangel must be coming out later in the month…I’ll be picking it up as soon as it’s available.

Comic-Con HQ

The beta release of Comic-Con HQ is coming on Saturday, May 7.  In honor of Free Comic Book Day, they are opening things up and all you need to do is sign in with an email address.  The idea is that this will be a place to go for past and present Comic-Con International media with video-on-demand, sneak peeks, commentary and more.  They even say there will be live streaming from San Diego Comic-Con in July so this could be a very cool site as it develops.
