A Little Priestly Action

Well, now that I got out of the goblin starting zone and reached level six with my hunter I decided it was time to create a new character. The concept I’m going on is that I’d like to be leveling up character for at least each race and see how that goes.

For my second character I am focusing on a forsaken priest. This was actually the second character I created in Warcraft and I really enjoyed playing the class. Particularly because I have a tendency to want to be in a supporting or healing role. DPS has never been my driving factor in games and tanking always made me a bit nervous having so much responsibility. Not that healers don’t have a large responsibility to the group as well but I feel there’s a little bit less as far as directing the enemies. My focus as a healer is just to keep everybody alive. In that manner I kind of feel that healing might be a bit easier than tanking. At least with healing I know that I have five people to focus on in a dungeon group or I have nine other people to focus on in a 10 man raid. And of course the primary focus has to be on the tank.

In any case, that’s a long way away from where I’m at now with my starting priest.

So here is my Forsaken Priest – CrimsonCross.
After running around driving my hot rod in Kezan, the Forsaken starting area seems quite bleak. Things look run down and pretty sparse in comparison to the density of things in the Goblin starting zone.

And most of the quests revolve around using my abilities or running around…not much in the way of non-standard/vehicle control schemes.
I’m enjoying the memories of my original priest as well here since things don’t seem to have changed too much.
