What IS Unlimited?

The Comixology Unlimited service launched this week to some questions and concerns.

The main question is just what exactly is unlimited.  For $6 a month there seem to be a number of cool comics available but only a limited number of issues in any particular run.  Saga is there, The Walking Dead is there, but while you can read them anytime and anywhere you can’t read all 100+ issues of TWD nor all 30+ issues of Saga…only the first trades. This is great to explore new comics and to get your feet wet with new artists and authors but it’s hardly unlimited. I suppose we should use the Trademark symbol for Unlimited so everyone recognizes it’s not the true meaning of the word.  I will say that not even Marvel Unlimited has all issues of their comics but they do seem to cover a lot more.  Hopefully Comixology will expand thier selection as time goes on and people start using the service. In any case, I’m gonna give it a try after this weekend – things are too hectic for me right now to waste the free days.

Orc Starting Zone

Since I got my Priest and my Hunter up to 6 and out of thier starting areas, I decided to get rolling on a Warlock. I went with an Orc this time since they get a bonus to pets and I wanted to spread out among the various races.  The main issue I have with Orcs though is that I’ve gone through their starting area a bunch and I get tired of all the red barren desert. 

I don’t mind their architecture or buildings, but in comparison to the density of the goblins, the dark and foreboding landscape of the forsaken, the Orc starting zone is RED.

Other parts of Durotar are a little better…

But it’s all still red.
