A Little Druid Today
Today I pushed a bit further in Warcraft. I took my Druid out and leveled up to 6. I know it’s not much, but I didn’t have much time and still wanted to accomplish something.
Along the way to level 6 a Druid gets 3 spells. The first is Wrath.
This spell is pretty much your bread and butter for the entire game. If you are going as a balance Druid, this will be a spell you use all the way up to 100. You’ll use it less as a guardian, feral, or resto Druid, but it’s still there and can be useful to tag mobs from a distance.
The second spell is Moonfire.
This instant damage over time spell is useful throughout leveling. It’s one that I often use even as a resto Druid, but for a balance Druid, this is one you’ll use quite often. Usually I start (at least at this early level) with a wrath then a Moonfire, then wrath until the mob is dead or Moonfire runs its course and I need to cast another. In any case, it’s a staple.
Lastly, rejuvenation is a healing spell.
This one too, gets used throughout leveling. Castable on yourself or others, it gives a good heal over time that you can use before casting wrath if you’re getting into a tougher fight. That way, you’ll have the healing ticks continue as you take damage. It’s also useful between fights to top off you hit points.
Having leveled a couple Druids, I’m pretty sure these three spells are used quite a bit through the leveling process so it’s good to get to know them early.
