Rambling about the March Back to Silver 3 and more Pokémon

I spent a ton of time in League this weekend so here’s my rambling about the march back to Silver 3 and well, it was gonna be One Punch Man since I was able to watch it, but I caught my most powerful Pokémon today so I had to mention that.  Mr. Robot is still on hold as I didn’t have an hour and a half to watch the first episode, but I soon will, and the Legion patch almost filled up my hard drive.  Just a quick post as I’m really getting ready for Comic-Con

March to Silver 3

March back to Silver in LeagueAfter my horrible play led to a seven game losing streak, things had to turn around…and they did.  I went for an 8-4 run and was on the precipice of attaining Silver 3 again.  I continued seeing THE ONE in many games but this time it was more likely that they were on my team for a change. I saw Graves, Jhin, Yasuo, Cait, and Vel’Koz take turns at being THE ONE.  Vel’Koz was particularly painful as that creature is a pretty hard country for me. This was the one time that THE ONE did not win the game.  Even though Vel’Koz picked up 23 kills, we had an LB on our team who managed to get 17 to counter. It was a hard fought match, but we won.  Overall, I went 35/57/107 with a 2.49 KDA which wasn’t too bad.

Pokémon GO

Pokemon triOf course, I’m still playing Pokémon GO.  I’m looking forward to seeing the craziness it creates around downtown San Diego during the convention. But before the con starts, I was able to catch 2 new Pokémon while in line at In-N-Out…a Geodude and a Rhyhorn, and a third – a Machop before leaving work for the week.  The Rhyhorn and Machop turned out to be the 1st and 3rd most powerful Pokémon I’ve caught so far and they pushed me over the top to level 7.  I’m still no where near capable of fighting in any gym battles – they’ve all got CPs over 1000 from what I’ve seen so far.  Perhaps if I team up with so other Mystics I could help take down a gym – maybe during the con…who knows.  In any case, the game is still fun though I find it slows me down more when I walk and I haven’t necessarily done any extra walking since I started playing yet.
