Morning Ramble 343: Knowledge is Power

Books

I finished off Black Flags last week and started up on The Day I Died. Actually, after reading Black Flags, I’m surprised at the number of mistakes intelligence agencies made and the luck that ISIS leaders have had at times. But then again, the reverse is true too – some of major attacks have been thwarted and many of the terrorist leadership have been killed or captured. Still, the battles rage on but I feel better educated on the subject and continue to pray for the day when people figure out there are better ways to accomplish things rather than with violence and killings.

SMITE

I’m actually starting to feel like I’m gaining knowledge in SMITE as well. It’s been a bit over a month since I started playing the game and I feel confident that I am now only a liability 50% or the time. I’ve been winning more games than losing and I know I’ve been contributing to those wins either in team fights, tower kills, or assists. I’m still not usually the player with most kills, but then I don’t play assassins yet. I suppose my main goal has been to stay alive as much as possible. By focusing on that,y level of contribution has increased and so has my win percentage. Of course, I’m no where near being good at the game, there so much to learn.
