Well…it happened again. This time I’ve got much more serious plumbing issues and I’ve had to call in some professional help. It’s not too bad since I’ve got a Home Warranty so the cost won’t be too high, but it’s still pretty inconvenient, particularly around the holidays. So, because of the wonders of an old house, I didn’t get any gaming time in today and I barely have time to take a break to put this post together. We’ll see if I can get my first look out tomorrow morning or if this is a problem that will take a few days to resolve. Wish me luck.
Ugh that’s the worst! I’ve been dealing with trying to get my car smogged before the 1st when my registration is due, on top of all the expenses of the holidays. Good luck man!
Thanks for the positive thoughts – things actually worked out well but took a while. It’s been non-stop craziness around the house with the plumbing backed up and Christmas preparations. But call it a Christmas Miracle, I was able to convince the plumber that they could come out on Saturday rather than waiting until AFTER Christmas.
The car/smog/registration thing that can be a nightmare too…I’ve been there in years past. There really should be a way to alter your registration to renew sometime other than over the holidays. We’ve got a December 10th renewal date that really sucks and I think I am gonna make sure if I ever purchase a car again, it’ll be away from yearly financial events.
