Marvel Unlimited New Weekly Releases May 21, 2018

Marvel releases comics to the Unlimited platform about 6 months after they come out in paper format so this week we are seeing comics from November 15, 2017. In an effort to try to read some more “modern” issues, I’ve been tracking what’s currently being released and trying to catch up from recent number ones…we’ll see how that goes.

Here’s what I’ve found this week that were released in November 2017:

  • Amazing Spider-Man #791
  • Ben Reilly: Scarlet Spider #10
  • Champions #14
  • Darth Vader #8
  • Deadpool Vs. Old Man Logan #2
  • Defenders #7
  • Doctor Strange #381
  • Guardians Of The Galaxy #147
  • Hawkeye #12
  • Incredible Hulk #710
  • Marvel’s Black Panther Prelude #2
  • Mighty Thor #701
  • Not Brand Echh #14
  • Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #297
  • Secret Warriors #8
  • Spider-Men II #4
  • Star Wars: Doctor Aphra #14
  • The Punisher #218
  • Thor Vs. Hulk: Champions Of The Universe #6
  • Weapon X #11
  • X-Men: Blue #15

There are some interesting titles in this group beginning with Champions. I really enjoyed the first issue of Champions so I think I’ll continue reading that series. I’ve also enjoyed Hawkeye so I’m gonna read that as well. There are also some interesting things going on…

Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #297 is actually an updated numbering and a new story arc since the last issue was numbered #6. The Looks like Not Brand Echh #14 is a new issue for a comic that hasn’t come out since 1969 so it could be an interesting read. Doctor Strange #381 also gets renumbered as #26 came out in October 2017. This one also features a new story arc where it looks like Loki will be taking over as the Sorcerer Supreme. Finally, The Punisher #218 gets an updated numbering and a new story arc. I’m sure there are other things that could be highlighted, but these are a few of the items I could discern without reading the comics.
