DC Universe New Weekly Releases October 27, 2020

DC Comics started to release new comics to their DC Universe platform about a year after they enter circulation as floppies. With that in mind, I decided to list off those released each week as I do for Marvel Unlimited. The DC releases come out on Tuesday. Coming soon, DC will be releasing comics 6 months after they’re on the shelves which will give me a lot of catching up to do.

Here’s what I think will be available for this week that was released October, 2019:

Top Comics This Week

15 new comics released today compared to 14 last week.  Looking at Comic Book Roundup which aggregates a bunch of review sites, here are the top issues from this batch of comics.

  • Martian Manhunter #9
by Steve Orlando and Riley Rossmo.
    Published by DC Comics, 2019.
In order for J’onn and Diane to uncover all of Charnn’s deadly secrets, J’onn will have to perform a Martian thoughtopsy, an extreme telepathic procedure that he might not come back from! What secrets, traps and deadly obstacles exist in Charnn’s head and his past? And is it too late to save Ashley Addams?
  • The Terrifics #21
by Gene Luen Yang and Stephen Segovia.
    Published by DC Comics, 2019.
Bizarro and the Terribles have invaded Earth-0 with a mission: turn back the clock. Armed with a time machine given to him by Lex Luthor, the one and only Man of YesterdayTM is determined to reverse progress in the Multiverse to a simpler time, a stupider time you might say. A bizarre time. So who’s going to stop this regression transgression? The Terrifics, that’s who!
  • Justice League Dark #16
by James Tynion IV, Alvaro Martinez, and Raul Fernandez.
    Published by DC Comics, 2019.
Deep in the basement archives of the Hall of Justice, home to the most dangerous magic the Justice League has ever encountered, there is an artifact so powerful it could rip the world in half. Circe knows it’s there, and with the Injustice League Dark at her side, nobody can stop her from obtaining it. The Witching War strikes close to home in its deadliest chapter yet!
