A New Supernatural Show
I have to say that while I have not seen all of the episodes of Supernatural, I have enjoyed what I have seen, and now it appears there is gonna be another show set in that universe – cool!
The Rundown
First off, here are a few things of interest for today…
- Divinity seems like Destiny
With a single quarter left, Divinity has a commanding lead over Forza, and I’m kinda surprised. I thought the fact that Forza was a much more recent release, had better graphics and was an open world car racing game would give it an edge. Instead, it has lost every quarter, and with one round left, they are down 76 to 69.
- Turning Around My Angels
With the Rangers sweeping my Angels out of Texas on Wednesday, I am hopeful that facing off against the lowly Oakland Athletics might turn things around. Oakland has only won 16 games this season while the Angels have won 24 – hopefully, that will be 25 after tonight, but the A’s are definitely a team to be facing off against at home to turn things around…I hope.
- Other Tournament Leaders
The other two wild card matches that have been kicked off have Star Trek Online in the lead over Black Desert Online and Disco Elysium ahead of Death Stranding. Today, I start up the last of my Wilde card matches with a contest between Half-Life 2 and Cyberpunk 2077.
The Goods
The Winchesters Look Promising
Back when Supernatural was on the air for the first time, I stopped watching around season 5. At the time, I was so frustrated that the network executives were talking about canceling the show, so I stopped watching.
The show ran for 15 seasons, and I missed out on some fun television.
Now, the parents of Sam and Dean are getting their own show – The Winchesters – so we can see the tale of how John, Mary, and what looks like their Scooby gang dealt with demons and ghosts before they had our favorite sons.
I’m looking forward to checking the show out in the Fall, and it might be the ONE show I actually watch on network TV…if you can, really consider the CW network TV.
It’s a Wrap
As I wind down my rambling today, I’m glad to see there is a new Supernatural show coming to the airwaves. Hopefully, it will be as good as the original and last just as long.
