Goals for July 2017

June is nearly gone and along with it, the first half of the year and tomorrow I’m gonna take a look back at the month and half, but today I’m looking forward to a pretty exciting month of July.

July is the month of San Diego Comic-Con so that’ll take up a significant portion of my time this month. The actual dates are July 20–23 with Preview Night on Wednesday July 19. Comic-Con is a bit of everything from TV to movies to games to books to anime to of course comics and I love it all.

Along with attending Comic-Con though, I have some other goals I’d like to accomplish this month:

• In Secret World Legends I’m planning on putting a sinificant dent in the Solomon Island quests.
• Continue with my reading of Asimov – I kinda bogged down on Robots & Empire since it’s an actual physical book which makes it hard to travel with.
• Push to earn another couple levels in SMITE – I’m at level 26 and I’d like to move up to level 30 and ranked play but with Comic-Con, I might not have the time this month.
• Start up and make some decent progress with a Necromancer in Diablo 3 – the Necro was my favorite character from Diablo 2 so I’m looking forward to what Blizzard’s giving us.
• Finish up my deep viewing of the first couple American Gods episodes
• Continue making some progress with reading DC’s Rebirth comics – at least get through the preliminary issues to get to the actual Rebirth event issue.
• Get back into reading the Complete Marvel Reading Order – I’m up to 1963 and just starting so I’ve got a long way to go,for the year.

I think that’s plenty for July. Comic-Con takes up so much of my ‘free time’ during the month that I’ll be surprised to get many of my goals met, but at least I’ve put a few out there.
