Marvel Unlimited New Weekly Releases August 27, 2018
Marvel releases comics to the Unlimited platform about 6 months after they come out in floppy format so this week we are seeing comics from February 21, 2018. In an effort to try to read some more “modern” issues, I’ve been tracking what’s currently being released and trying to catch up from recent number ones…we’ll see how that goes.
Here’s what I’ve found this week that were released in February 2018:

Apparently there are a bunch of final issues among these 18 new releases. Deadpool vs. Old Man Logan concludes it’s story, Generation X as well. Defenders and Luke Cage are finishing off their runs this week so it looks like Daredevil will be keeping things safe in Hell’s Kitchen by himself for the time being.
Of these 18, I’ve read issues in the Amazing Spider-Man run (which are pretty good so far), the Avengers title (I’ve gotta see what happens after this Kang the Conquerer storyline is over since I didn’t really like it), and X-Men: Gold (in which the team is fighting the Brotherhood of Evil at the point where I’m at in the story).

Finally, I’m thinking of giving a shot at the Mighty Thor since I’m intrigued by Jane Foster becoming Thor. I can see this as a potentially interesting storyline and with ‘only’ 28 issues I should be able to catch up before the final issue (30th in the series but #706) shows up on Marvel Unlimited.
