All According to Plan

The Houston Astros had a plan and they executed it to near perfection on Friday. Their ace starter pitched 5 1/3 solid innings and their potent offense smashed 4 home runs as they easily walked away from game 1 in their division series with a 7–2 victory over the Indians.

The Dodgers also executed their plan to perfection shutting down Atlanta for the 2nd game in a row. After a masterful game pitched my Hyun-Jin Ryu on Thursday the Braves had to face the best pitcher of current times in Clayton Kershaw. He held them to 2 hits over 8 innings and they never had a chance.

Both alums of last years’ World Series are on a direct path for a collision in the Series again and I’m looking forward to it.

Boston took a step closer to their season goal as well as they beat their division rival Yankees 4–5. And Milwaukee is on the verge of eliminating Colorado from contention with their 4–0 win.
