2021 MMM Round 2: Red, In Fur and Tricksy Taxonomy Results
Round 2 of the 2021 March Mammal Madness kicked off yesterday with 8 matches in the Red, In Fur and the Tricksy Taxonomy divisions and boy, did the fur fly.
Advancing on to the Sweet Sixteen are: the Red Kangaroo, the Mountain Tapir, the upstart Egyptian Fruit Bat, the Red Hartebeest, the Red Wolf, the Dugong, the Bay Cat, and the Red Brocket.
The Egyptian Bruit Bat has to be the Cinderella of the bunch as the 12th seed marched through the Kinda Baboon in the first round and the Solenodon in round 2. I honestly picked him to lose to the Baboon but then again, I haven’t been making too many good picks in this tournament.
Other than the 12th seeded Bat, we’ve got 2 number 1s, 2 number 2s, 2 number 3s, and a number 5 seed.
