Morning Ramble 349: Wild Westerns

Westworld is one of the best shows on TV right now and I think it’s an influential factor in the rise of The Western MMO setting.  

With the TV shows success and the greatness that Rockstar Games put out years ago, I think this is prime time for Red Dead Redemption 2 to be coming out. 

And now I’ve heard about Wild West Online and am really excited.

Three big Western inspired properties and I am loving it.  The setting is classic and lends itself to so many possibilities that I really think the games can do well and I know the show has done well.  But with all the titles coming out this year, I fear they might not be given enough of a chance.

Let’s hope they get their shot and show the industry that the Western theme is a viable one for gaming.
