31 Days of Comic-Con: Star Trek Discovery

Day 4: Beaming Down to Comic-Con on Saturday

It’s been way too long since theres been a Star Trek series on the small screen and that drought is about to be resolved this Fall. Star Trek Discovery is gonna take off in September and I’m very excited.

I hate to say it, but I didn’t watch Star Trek Enterprise after the first few episodes – I could not tolerate the destruction of the wonderful intro music that had always gone along with the franchise. That crap they put at the start of Enterprise just told me it wasn’t really a Star Trek show, but some perversion of the show I loved.

In any case, Star Trek Discovery is coming to Comic-Con and I’m gonna try to make the panel. With the schedule coming out over the next few days, I’m gonna try to block out time to get to Ballroom 20 on Saturday at 2:30.

I certainly hope they get some decent opening music for this show.

  1. I got through the 1st season of Enterprise… barely.

I watched the 1st episode of the 2nd season. And it was crap. That was the last I’ve seen of that series.

Which bums me out. I really like Scott Bakula, but…. if the story’s no good, then the actor won’t keep me watching.

    • Yeah, I like Bakula as well but the only way I’ll ever watch it will be with the opening credits in fast forward. I. Sure some day I’ll give it a shot – maybe when I watch through all the series.
