Daily Ramble 17: Buying Destiny 2

Well, I either own 6 copies of Destiny 2 for my PlayStation or Sony has serious problems processing PayPal transactions.

Actually, I did get one copy ordered and paid for properly by going through Best Buy, but Sony was a big fail. I tried purchasing the digital download through the PlayStation store on 2 different windows PCs, a MacBook Pro, and my PS4 and each time I logged in, confirmed the transaction in PayPal, and got nowhere with Sony. Such a big fail.

So basically, instead of paying for, downloading, and playing the game, I got to spend all the time I had to play this morning trying to buy the game. Sony really sucks – I can’t even give them my money.

The one positive thing I will say about the whole process is I think this game downloaded the fastest I’ve ever seen something on my PS4 transfer. The whole 30gb download took only about an hour and I’ve seen a 2gb map pack for a game take over 10 hours to download.

I was able to get everything downloaded and up and running but I didn’t have any time to start up a character. That’ll happen soon though – I’m looking forward to it.

I just wonder how many copies I really own.
