Decisions…Upgrade my Island, my Healing Staff, or my Fire Staff?

The personal island upgrade is the most expensive but also brings the most immediate activities. Basically if I upgrade my island I then open up a bunch of new building areas for construction and a new farm plot. That would give me a bunch of things to do with construction, leveling the buildings, figuring out my farm type – pasture, herb, kennel, and assigning laborers. So much to do with an island upgrade.

If I upgrade my healing staff, I’ll probably go invited to more expeditions. Bt then again, it seems I get accepted pretty quickly as a healer for Tier 5 expeditions right now anyway. I suppose if I update my healing staff I might feel more confident running as a healer on Teir 6 runs but I just got into those as it is.

As for the Great Fire Staff, I could also upgrade that but I’m not sure it would make much difference right now. As far as I can tell I do plenty of damage as DPS but don’t have the item level that many LFG groups look for. Right now, most of the groups I’m seeing people ask for an item level of 1000 and even buying an improved staff, I won’t get there yet. To get there, I’ll need to upgrade some other items first.

So I’m thinking the best upgrade will be my island. I’ll let you know how that goes.
