Pop-up Kids and Rotations

Master Chef Kids

I just watched the pop-up restaurant episode of Master Chef Junior.

I can’t believe they put these children through this amount of stress. I think they should have kept all the kids and not kicked any of them off. I think it’s cruel to put these children through such an ordeal and then kick them off the show. These kids are amazing and should be given a chance considering most adults can’t handle a pop-up restaurant. Anyway, they kicked out 2 of the poor kids – I’m frustrated. I guess what’s funny is I really can’t stand the adult version of this show, but I love seeing the kids cook things I wouldn’t even think I could make.

Starting a Gaming Rotation

With the start of the new year, I have decided to try something new out. I am going to try to work on a gaming rotation. Now, I have played many games simultaneously thought my gaming life, but I want to try to control my juggling a bit…but not too much.

Basically, I want to set up a 10 day rotation where I play a set of games during a 10 day span and stick to them until the next rotation starts.

My rotation for the first 10 days of the year is League of Legends (actually 2 different summoners), Heroes of the Storm, WoW, Civilization V, and Clash of Clans on the iPad. So far, I’ve played mostly LoL and HotS, but there are still 6 days left in this rotation. In any case, I want to see how this rotation thing goes.

Ashe verses Bots game 3

I played my 3rd game of LoL against the bots as Ashe today. I feel like I am really starting to get her abilities under control and am getting better.

And of course, just as I feel I am getting better, I give up first blood – to bots. Actually, the damn minions got me because I was not paying attention, but I still died. I really need to make sure to,focus and pay attention in game. What is interesting is that Garen and I teamed up again and we were running the top lane against Cho and Warwick, but this time I died first, and he followed shortly after.

The good new was that after that first death, I did not die again until after the 25th minute when Warwick jumped on me and tore me to pieces. I ended the game 17-2 with 15 assists and the largest killing spree at 15.

The main thing I take away from this game is that I need to focus during the game.
