Rambling on Day 4 of #Blaugust2016

Just wanted to ramble about a couple of random things today since I was too focused on non-blog things.

Tiny League

I mentioned the other day about how my wonderful new 4K display had issues with the League of Legends launcher…here’s a screenshot.

I know I’m not a spring chicken anymore, but I challenge anyone to be able to claim that text is easily legible.

I was able to get a win in ARAM on my new machine, but I had to set the resolution down to 1920×1200 to get decent FPS.

#Blaugust2016 is in Full Swing

Head over Belghast’s post on #Blaugust2016 where he lists the 50+ bloggers participating in #Blaugust this year.  It looks like a good turnout and I’ve now got some more sites to add to my blog roll.

Usagi Yojimbo

I just started reading Usagi Yojimbo Classic #1 and it is pretty good.  The comic is written and drawn by Stan Sakai and follows the adventures of Miyamoto Usagi, a rabbit samurai. The series has a couple hundred issues and has won a few Eisners, and even from the little I’ve read, I can see I’ll enjoy it.  You can get the first issue and a few more, like I did on Comixology Unlimited, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be following the saga beyond the ‘unlimited’ offerings.
