First Look at the Friday Schedule at #SDCC2018
Last time I took a quick look at the Thursday Schedule but today I take my first look at Friday’s panels.
7 Days to #SDCC2018
- Hall H – Friday is The Walking Dead Day in Hall H as both FTWD and TWD are back to back in the morning. I’m not interested in either since it’s been 2 years since I watched TWD but it’s important to keep an eye on one of the busiest panels. The main show I’d like to see in here on Friday is the Preacher panel at 7:30. The rest I can easily pass on though Bumblebee could be cool and while
- Ballroom 20 – This room has a bit of everything in it today…Marvel is highlighting Cloak and Dagger, the new Castle Rock show, Vikings, and a couple of ensemble panels for Amazon and Brave Warriors. Those last two will feature people like Carlton Cuse, Neil Gaiman, Ben Edlund, Jay Hernandez, Benedict Wong, and Sam Esmail. With everything in here, this might be another place to hang out.
- Indigo Ballroom – This is quite likely where I’ll at least start my day off as the Adventure Time panel is probably gonna be the last time this show is at the con. Following that up with FLCL, a weird show I really enjoy and eventually The Venture Bros. panel will be one I really want to see where the creators will be talking about the long awaited seventh season. The day is later capped off in here with the Eisner Awards.
- Room 4 – is a rather small room but it has a couple panels that look real interesting: Moonbase and Beyond_ is a panel with actual scientists, engineers, and astronauts talking about the future of space flight and missions to the solar system. The other panel follows right after it – Best and Worst Manga of 2018.
- Room 6DE – This room seems to be the DC room for Friday with lotsa panels about Batman, Justice League, and DC Nation but towards the end of the day there’s a panel with Adam Savage that I’ve been to many times and it’s always a lot of fun.
- Room 7AB – seems to be the Star Wars room for Friday.
While these are just the panels that grabbed my eye on my initial perusal, there are plenty more that could be a lot of fun and full of information.
