Planning Worked Today

For a change today, I’ve got a plan already in place for what I’d like to ramble about. Somehow things have settled down enough that I was able to use my system to get things laid out in my editorial calendar and at least get them partially done before the day even started. Hopefully this is the start of a new way of things.

Six Degrees

One thing I wanted to do all along during Blaugust was to feature fellow Blaustians in my Six Degrees posts and try to carry on conversations with them as the month went on. Well, that didn’t really happen but I’m gonna make a concerted effort to make that take place for the remaining days of the event.

With that in mind, I’m gonna take a look at a recent post from Naithin over at Time to Loot where he is dealing with his increasing time spent in No Man’s Sky.

Wednesday Pull List

I already mentioned the Marvel Unlimited and DC Universe new releases for the week and Wednesday is new comic book day for actual new comics (not issues that are 6+ months old). With that in mind, I try to put together a pull list each week with the comics I’m looking forward to reading or at least putting on my back log. Yeah, my back log of reading is at least as long as my gaming back log but at least comics don’t take as long as games to get through.

In this week’s pull list I’m definitely adding Powers of X #3 because that series and it’s partner House of X have been excellent.

I’m eagerly awaiting the next issue of The Goon – number 4 – but it seems to be delayed at least on Comixology. It’s been a real good series through 3 issues so I hope things get back on track soon.

Finally, I’m gonna try out a new series with Strayed #1 that looks to be about a cat and his owner who save the world.

There are plenty of other title’s I’m adding to my backlog but these 3 looked to be on the top of my pile.

Reserved My Names

With WoW Classic around the corner I decided I’d jump on in and see about the characters I want to create. My original character when the game started was a Priest…a Forsaken Priest. She was a lot of fun but was kinda dependent on others to progress through the more difficult sections of the game. That was fine but I wanted something a bit more solo friendly.

With the 3 reserved name slots on the Classic servers I’ve gotta make some decisions for how I want to set things up so I brainstormed some ideas in a post…

It’s a Wrap

A look at a fellow Blaugustian’s thoughts on No Man’s Sky, my growing pull list, and a start with WoW Classic sounds like plenty of rambling today. Hopefully I’ll have things laid out for tomorrow as well.
