DC Universe New Weekly Releases 2 February, 2021

I’m still not sure exactly what DC is releasing these days and they seem to be dropping new comics any day of the week. I’m gonna stick to what I am familiar with and pull issues that were released on DC Universe Infinit this week from July.

Here’s the new stuff I found this week:

DC Universe New Releases February 2, 2020:

  • Batman/Superman #10
  • Batman: Gotham Nights #15
  • DC Cybernetic Summer #1
  • Legion of Super-Heroes #7
  • Plunge #5
  • Red Hood and the Outlaws #47
  • Suicide Squad #7
  • Wonder Woman #759
  • John Constantine: Hellblazer #8

TOP RELEASES OF THE WEEK

9 new comics released today (last week had 20).  Anyway, looking at Comic Book Roundup which aggregates a bunch of review sites, here are the top issues from this batch of comics. This week I found 4 issues that I wanted to look further into.

  • John Constantine: Hellblazer #8
by Simon Spurrier and Aaron Campbell.
    Published by Vertigo Comics, 2020.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned-especially one with gills, claws, and the teeth of a shark. Will John Constantine protect the fishermen who are in the siren’s sights? Or will he lead them right to her?
  • Suicide Squad #7
by Tom Taylor and Daniel Sampere.
    Publisehd by DC Comics, 2020.
Annnnd he’s out! With a pardon in his pocket, Deadshot walks away from the Suicide Squad in hopes of reuniting with his daughter, Zoe, and making things right at last. But you can’t outrun your past when it’s still looking to kill you, and their family reunion quickly takes a turn for the deadly. To whom can Deadshot turn when he’s left behind everyone who once had his back?
  • Wonder Woman #759
by Mariko Tamaki and Mikel Janin.
    Published by DC Comics, 2020.
It’s a brand-new day for Wonder Woman! As Diana starts to pick up the pieces of her life following her battle with the Four Horsewomen and her run-in with the Phantom Stranger, Man’s World has become more complicated to navigate than ever before. It seems everyone has a take on who Wonder Woman should be-some who look on her heroics with admiration, and some who lie in wait to seek revenge. A familiar threat is watching Diana’s every move, and now is the perfect time to strike…
  • Batman: Gotham Nights #15
by Mark Russell and Ryan Benjamin.
    Published by DC Comics, 2020.
What seems like a simple foiled diamond heist continues to puzzle Batman…because when Catwoman is involved, nothing is ever “simple.”
