What have I been Watching Blaugust 2025 Day 2

Today I felt like mentioning a few of the TV shows I’ve been watching. It’s another day of Blaugust and I’m still struggling for time to build out my posts but I think I’m getting back into the swing of things. I’m hoping to catch up on some of the posts of my fellow Blaugustinians over the next few days and maybe even get some time to do some gaming…we’ll see.

Foundation

• This is my current favorite and I watch it as soon as it is released each week. I am a huge Asimov fan and am really enjoying this interpretation of some of this great novels.

From

• I’m not usually into horror, but this should showed up during a time when I was looking for something to fill the hole that Severance left after the second season. One of the YouTube channels I was watching with theories about that show recommended From so I gave it a shot and am now enjoying catching up.

The Righteous Gemstones

• This is a guilty pleasure. I have enjoyed every show Danny McBride has been in and while I came to this show after 3 seasons have been released, I am really enjoying this crazy show about mega-church hypocrisy.

Sandman

• I am so sad that this beautiful and imaginative series will not be getting another season. I guess I’ll have to make do with the comics but I’m disappointed in Netflix for canceling such a good show.

Wheel of Time

• Another show that has been canceled as it was getting better each season. There is so much more that can be added to this world from the books that is is tragic that Amazon was so short-sighted.

Murderbot

• Ive got one more episode in this first season and it has been everything I wanted when I heard to books were being made into a TV show. I am very pleased with Apple on this one.

Fubar

• I was shocked when I saw that the second season was released, I was almost certain that Netflix had canceled the show. This season is definitely weaker and some of the fun of the first season is gone now that the world building is over, but it’s still enjoyable.

Today, I just took the time to touch base on the shows I’m currently watching but perhaps in a future post I’ll dive into the why and what I enjoy about each.
