6° of Blaugust
I’ve decided to revive my 6° series of posts but rather than shove everything into a single (or sinkhole as Siri tried to get me to write) post, I’m gonna try something different. This time around, I am going to look into relating one of the degrees each day. This will give me a better opportunity to focus on the site I visit and will spread the time investment across a much more reasonable timeframe.
Trying to get 6 blog posts read and analyzed on Friday was a painful experience. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed reading the posts and formulating my thoughts based on what was presented, but it can take a lot of time. By spreading things out throughout the week, it should ease the pain and since I want to enjoy blogging, a lack of pain is essential.
With 6 sites to visit and comment on for my 6° series, that leaves a day to comment on them in general. I can also use that 7th day to setup the coming week’s agenda.
So here we go…
For this first installment of my new 6° series, I’m going to focus on sites participating in Blaugust. Tales of their Aggronaut has a great list of the sites and I’m gonna pick a blog from each of the categories to target this week.

Stranger Things
This weekend I’m gonna watch the rest of Stranger Things. This has been such a fun show. For a change, a series with so much promise actually has come through on them. The concept is cool, the character development works, and the setting really makes this a gem.
It’s been a long time since I’ve actually anticipated the final episodes of a season. With Game of Thrones, the last episode always seems to be set up for next season, but this show seems to be headed to a climax at the end. The Walking Dead is usually pretty good in the final episode but the darkness of that series tempers my anticipation. No, this show stands alone right now at the top of my list.
I can’t wait.
