Gods and Omelettes

Daily Ramble 24: Gods and Omelettes

Slow and steady progress has me expanding my roster and learning recipients. In Albion, I I started putting my farms to use making money and food with benefits – those chicken omelettes are tasty. After making, eating, and selling those, I moved forward my mastery in SMITE by leveling Scylla to level 1 in worshipers. It was a good day.

Chicken Omelettes

The last few days have seen me expand my personal island and build up a new farm where I’ve been raising animals. Chicken and Goats are everywhere now and I wanted to start doing something with these guys and all the veggies I’ve been growing since I built my first farm, so I grabbed a few and headed over to my Guild’s island. This is where I’ve been doing most of my crafting since it’s more efficient and cost effective to use my guild facilities than those in Fort Sterling itself.

The Guild was nice enough to place the butcher and the cook next to each other so you don’t have to move too much when putting food together.

Since I’m just an amateur chef, I have to start off on the basics and the most useful recipe I found was the Chicken Omelette. The benefit of this food item is an increase in casting speed and a decrease in cooldowns and I’ve come to use this with both my DPS and healing build. Sure I can use a damage food for my DPS, but I haven’t seen the need so far in the expeditions.

The other good thing about Chicken Omelette is that it seems to sell pretty well in the marketplace so maybe I can make some silver from my farms.

Scylla is my 10th Mastered God

On the SMITE front, I finally made it to 10 gods mastered.

Apparently there’s an achievement for that but I would have done it anyway. Players like Izlain over at Me vs Myself and I have mastered over 60 so I’ve got a long way to go.

I am enjoying my 10th god – Scylla – so far and she might become one of my go-to gods in addition to Kukulkan. She’s got a pretty good kit that I like. She’s got a snare on her 1, a AOE damager and slow in her 2, an escape or initiator with her 3, and an ultimate that does signification damage. Topping all that, she’s a lot of fun to play.

As for the next god I’ll master, I’m thinking I’ll let the RNG gods guide me and sign up for the Assault game mode. That type of match gives you a random god to play so since I own all gods, I should end up with someone new to learn. I’ll keep you up to date on how things go.
