A Bad Outing

Hopefully this poor outing from JC Ramirez is the last one he’ll have and he’ll be able to turn things around in his next start whenever that may be. He really didn’t look too good and I’m wondering if he might have a bit of an injury.

On the bright side, the team tried to come back from JC’s rough outing but just couldn’t get all the way. Home runs by Valbuena and Upton were just not enough and the team fell 7–3.

My Player of the Game has to go to Upton for his 2 for 4 night. Other than the home run, he also picked up a double and drove in 2.

With the loss, the Angels fall to 2nd place behind the Astros at 6–3 but hopefully they’ll take the series on Sunday.
