Revenge is Sweet

Extremity #1 by Daniel Warren Johnson, Mike Spicer, and Rus Wooten. Published by Image Comics, 2017. Extremes are what this issue is all about and it paints a detailed world where extreme action can take place. The Rising Plains do not seem like a very hospitable place and when the Paznina attack Roto and his clan we can see how life barely survives. This issue looks at Thea and Rollo, siblings who lost their mother to the attack and one who was considered the clan’s greatest artist lost her hand. Revenge is sweet though as we start to see how the family bonds in hacking through the evil enemy.
I really enjoyed the blood lust depicted in this first issue and the feelings of loss and spite coming from Thea push this issue over the top. I give this issue a Must Read and ma looking forward to the rest of the first volume.

After watching this trailer and backgrounder, I am totally excited to see Alita Battle Angel and I might be able to convince Mrs. Redshirt to go see it in the theater.

I just really hoping this doesn’t disappoint me as much as Titanic and Avatar did.
