Reading From Week 35 Of 2019
It’s been a while since I commented on what I’ve been reading so I at least wanted to start back into my weekly reading list. If I can at least get a comparison of what I’ve read for the past week it’ll get me started back on the road to rating what I’ve been reading.
So here goes…
A Tier
These four represent the best comics I read this week. I’m really loving Canto and can see a lot of heart in that story while Absolute Carnage has a complete lack of soul and Powers of X is just a tour de force.

B Tier
The second tier of comics I read this week were pretty good as well. I almost placed Second Coming in the A tier but hedged on the fact that it’s a bit over the top. Nightwing and Harley Quinn are both from the early stages of DC Rebirth and I’m trying to get moving into that era of DC Comics to see where the current events are coming from.

C Tier
These couple of issues from Harley and Nightwing are decent but they don’t stack up to the others.

12 comics on the week and I feel pretty good that I’m getting back up to speed with my reading and getting back into some good stories – both from the big 2 and others. I’d definitely recommend any of the A Tier books and the B Tier are good as well. If I ever get around to reviewing comics again I’ll be giving these issues actual letter grades but for now, I think the tier list is the way to go…simply compare them to each other for the week.
