Ramble #5: Fighting off Illness

As I sit here this morning watching the sun rise, I wonder why on Earth am I up at this hour on a Saturday?

I suppose it’s a confluence of having set my pattern of wakefulness to these early hours over the years and the fact that I did not sleep very well. The Santa Ana winds we’ve been having here in San Diego have been so warm and so dry that I believe I’m coming down with a sinus infection and that is impacting my restfulness.

Hopefully I can get back to sleep and avoid getting truly sick.
