Friday at ComicCon@Home

And…just like the regular Comic-Con in downtown San Diego, I want to see and do too many things. So many things that I actually have very little time to consolidate my thoughts on what I’ve seen during the day.

Suffice to say that I’m gonna keep my rambling short for today.

The Eisner Awards

The biggest news of today was the announcement of the winners of the Eisner Awards. While there were a whole bunch of categories I was primarily focused on a few that included comics that I’ve read throughout the year.

To that end, here are the winners in the categories I was attending to…

Best New Series: Invisible Kingdom

Best Continuing Series: Bitter Root

Best Limited Series: Little Bird

Best Reality Based Work: The Called Us Enemy

It’s a Wrap

All four of those comics were very good. I feel pretty good that I have had the chance to read some of each of those titles and I definitely enjoyed them. Now that they are award winners I think I’ll have to go back and make sure that I read the whole arc that won them the award.

But today is not the day that I’ll do that…and it’s not the day that I’m gonna dive into more panels – I’m just too tired.
