Adventures in Wildstar and Thoughts on the Maze Runner

Wildstar

So I woke up on Gambler’s Ruin with the rest of the Exiles and find out that I was not who they wanted to take out of stasis. Actually, Deadeye Blightland wanted to retrieve his wife Sadie from stasis before the power failed…good thing his aim was wrong in this case.

Since I was awake anyway, I helped him and his pooch – Grim – find Sadie but when we did, we had to get her to medbay to see Viktor Lazarin for treatment. Helping out, I got my first taste of combat as I had to dodge medbots and disable them while grabbing some serum to say Sadie.

Lazarin fixed her up and after drinks at The Rockin’ Rowsdower I headed up to the command deck for further tasks where I met Commander Durek.

Durek warned that the Dominon were attacking and to get prepared to fight…so I walked to a window and gazed off into space.

I’ll get to the fighting stuff next time.

The Maze Runner

This was a pretty decent YA movie. I enjoyed it even though it was somewhat predictable, and it made for a decent afternoon of relaxed viewing. I’m still a bit confused as to the whole challenge/maze and virus thing, but perhaps they’ll explain more in the sequel. In any case, I think I got what I wanted out of it.
