Preview of the Wildcard Match of 2019MMM

The 2019 March Mammal Madness kicks off later tonight with the final fight to reach the tournament. 63 animals, we can’t just call them mammals anymore, have already made the brackets and are gearing up for their coming fights but tonight we see one final entrant advance into the tournament.

Will it be the Antlion or the Tiger Beetle?

Of course neither of these are mammals but whoever wins, they’re heading into the Cat-e-Gory bracket as the 16th seed. There, they’ll face off against a real mammal, the Sea Lion in a 1 vs 16 battle.

Which one of these insects will try to become the true Cinderella of this year’s tournament?

My money is on the Antlion since I’ve seen these guys in action in many a TV show and they look fierce. The Tiger Beetle looks determined to give a good fight though and those mandibles appear ready to tear victims apart.

Whoever wins will face an uphill battle but I think this match should be real interesting in it’s own right.
