The Seeker and the CoH Saga

City of Inhuman Heroes

Today I jumped for joy as I learned about the real possibility of a revival of City of Heroes. While I read about the continuing saga of the Fantastic Four’s first encounters with the Inhumans I saw a video explaining how to get into the current CoH servers and I’m excited!

Is City of Heroes Back?

With so many headlines in the gaming media about City of Heroes recently I had to do some investigation.

It’s not to difficult to find details about the current servers and from what I was able to find out, it’s easy to download and set up an account. One location for info is at http://patch.savecoh.com but I found most of my info from an easy to follow video:

This is really exciting and I’m looking forward to trying to get into the game soon. If this is legit, which it certainly looks like from the videos I’ve seen, I can only hope the folks at NCSoft have a heart and a brain and let people keep playing. There has been a demand for CoH to come back in some fashion ever since they shut it down and so many people were confused as to why it shut down in the first place.

All I can really hope for is a chance to regain the fun I had in the first MMO that really clicked for me. So I better get to it before it gets shut down or everyone advances beyond the low level zone where I can team up with them.

Black Bolt is Pretty Tough

Fantastic Four #46 Those Who Would Destroy Us! by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Joe Sinnott.  Published by Marvel Comics, 1966.

In the last issue, we met the Inhumans and Black Bolt made a dramatic entrance to finish off the tale but he didn’t get into much of a fight. This time around he’s showing what he can do as he takes the full force of the Thing’s punches while his team deals with the Torch’s flames and Sue’s force fields. We also meet the Seeker who apparently is after the Inhumans to bring them back to ‘shelter’ of the Great Refuge. No body wants to go with the Seeker’s gang though and the FF, the Inhumans, and even Dragon Man end up fighting against him.

With all the introductions I feel this issue is a good Read to learn more about all the characters and I really liked seeing Lockjaw take on the Thing.

This comic can be found on Marvel Unlimited, Comixology or at your local comic book shop.

It’s a Wrap

From the continuing adventures of the Fantastic Four to the promises of a new adventure on the streets of City of Heroes, today was a fun day and one that breeds anticipation of things to come.
