Issue #1
Canto’s people have been slaves for generations…so long that they have forgotten who they are. They no longer have names, are not allowed to love, and are forced to live without hearts as they’ve been replaced with clocks.

But Canto is different. He holds on to the tales of a legendary boy who saved a princess and her kingdom. A boy who became a knight, fought beasts, and killed an evil sorcerer.

Now Canto must become that boy for his forbiden love has been struck down by the Slavers and her clock is damaged. Only he can journey to the Hermit of the lake to learn how to fix her broken clock. But to do so, he’ll have to escape the Slavers, avoid the ferocious Malorex and find a way to bring back his beloved’s heart.

Verdict

This is such a great beginning to what looks to be a wonderful fairy tale. I rate this issue a Must Read
