Issue #2
We saw in the first issue the wonderful world building of David Booher as he laid out an intracate fairy tale setting for our hero to play in. In this issue, our aspiring knight embarks upon his quest – journey to the Hermit of the Lake and find a way to save his beloved.

As with any knight’s tale, this one is full of monsters and challenges, the first of which is escaping the slavers of Arcana. Canto’s people have been working the slave mines for what seems like eternity but he’s gotta break free before he can even think about going on his mission. And once free he faces the dreaded Malorex and the evils of the forest. Will our little hero make it through the mountains, past the dragons, and to the lake to find the Hermit? I can’t wait to see in future issues.

Along with the beautifully told tale, the art is incredible. Although they’re monsters, each Malorex looks distinct and the little knight is wonderfully portrayed.

I’m loving this series.

This is such a great fairly tale that I am happy to rate this issue a Must Read.
