Picks for the Mammal Collective Division of 2022MMM

Today, I’m just gonna list off my picks for the 2022 March Mammal Madness tournament Mammal Collectives Division, and I’ve got a few significant upsets picked out.

To kick things off, I don’t even know how the Pandas got to be the number 2 seed. I’ve seen these guys in action, if you could call it that. Pandas are more likely to be mistaken for a black and white rock than for an actual living animal – they just don’t do anything. Worse still, they barely have any interest in reproducing, and when they do manage to have a baby – they commonly sit on it and kill it. Anyway, Prairie Dogs, on the other hand, are pretty active, look out for one another, and from what I’ve seen, work as a team for protection. I pick the number 15 seed Town Prairie Dogs to defeat the Embarrassment of Pandas because…yes, I think they are an embarrassment.

Down in the bottom of the bracket, I also pick the Stench of Skunks to win over the Skulk of Foxes. As we’ve seen before in the history of the tournament, Skunks usually perform pretty well, often much higher than their seeding would suggest. I think #10 will beat #7.

Up in the top part of the bracket, I see the Lemurs holding on against the Otters. While the location of the battle will favor the Otters, I think the Lemurs have an edge with their tails. And in a somewhat lesser upset, I see the Weasels defeating the Glaring of Cats.

In any case, here are my picks for the division where I see the Troop of Monkeys heading into the Final Roar over the Pride of Lionesses.
