Still Fighting SWTOR

Ramble #15: Still Fighting SWTOR

Today I focus on comics because I continued to encounter issues with SWTOR. I’m figuring things out though and will get it up and running soon. For now though, I went and read through another of the Justice League: No Justice issues and figured out which Marvel issues I wanted to take a look at this week.

Justice League: No Justice #2

Part 2 of 4

by Scott Snyder, James Tynion VI, Joshua Williamson, and Francis Manapul.
Published by DC Comics, 2018.
In the first issue of this event we saw Brainiac kidnap quite a few of Earth’s heroes and transport them to his homeworld where he began laying out a plan to take down some gods called Omega Titans. The plans looked promising, if desperate, until Director Waller interfered and blew up Brainiac. In this issue, the heroes, and villains since Brainiac didn’t distinguish, are stuck trying to enact a plan they only know parts of while Waller and Green Arrow try to find the seed on Earth that’s gonna draw the planet eating Titans to Earth next. It’s a good story that brings together a whole slew of heroes and villains, even ones like Lobo and some giant starfish calling itself Starro. On the whole, it’s a nice continuation of the event and I’d recommend giving it a Read.

This Week’s Marvel Unlimited Picks

So here are my additions to my backlog from Marvel Unlimited this week…

  • War of the Realms #3 by Jason Aaron and Russell Dauterman.
  • War Of The Realms Strikeforce: The Dark Elf Realm #1 by Bryan Hill and Leinil Francis Yu.
  • Champions #5 by Jim Zub and Juanan Ramirez.
  • Domino: Hotshots #3 by Gail Simone and David Baldeon.
  • Meet The Skrulls #4 by Robbie Thompson and Niko Henrichon.

Five additions to my Pull List this week and I could easily have added more. I‘ll probably end up reading Deadpool since I’ve got previous issues in my pull list already and the Star Wars issues will get there eventually as I reach them in the Star Wars chronology. On the whole, this week looks like a pretty full one for Marvel releases.

It’s a Wrap

I think that laying today out as a comic day will help give me the time I need to get things working with SWTOR. I know I’m close to getting into the game and while I still got the “pink screen Of huh???” today, I did have sound. I’m gonna update my video card drivers and cross my fingers later today and hopefully that will get me in…we’ll see.
