Another New Campaign

Hmm…did I mention that I joined up with a guild in Destiny 2? Well, I did. I joined in with The Tangled Shire.

I’m not too familiar with them yet, but so far, they seem to be pretty active and friendly. They particularly seem to be fine with clueless noobs running around in their Discord and chat channels.

But one thing I kept seeing throughout all the communication mechanisms was that people were looking for more to join in on something called POH.

Now, I did not know what POH was. But I figured it was some kind of grinding content that gave out the good loot. And from what I can tell…that’s exactly what it is. The only problem I have with it is that I need to figure out how to unlock it so I can participate with all my guildies.

After doing some research, I figured out that POH means Pit of Heresy, and it’s a ‘dungeon’ in the current season of Destiny 2. Ok…I had heard about something called the Season of Arrivals, but I suppose this is my first real toe-dipping into the pool of Destiny seasonhood.

So, in order to play with my guildmates in POH, I’m gonna have to reach a few milestones. First, I’m gonna have to figure out how to access and complete a mission called Deepening Wake up on the Moon. When I go there to see what I need for this mission, I don’t find it anywhere. Apparently, I need to first finish off the Shadowkeep campaign. Hmm, another campaign, and I just started the Forsaken yesterday.

Fortunately, you can have tons of quests in your mission log in Destiny, and it is perfectly fine to have missions from more than one campaign. So…I’m off to the Moon to do the Shadowkeep campaign while I place the Forsaken with it’s cool story’s on hold. I wonder if the story in Shadowkeep will be as good as the Forsaken started out.

Wish me luck!

Promptapalooza Prompt Day 16

Today is also day 16 of Blaugust, or rather it is the sixteenth day that we are posting a prompt for Promptapalooza. In any case, this year, Belghast over at Tales of the Aggronaut has suggested a different format…we’re gonna be posting writing prompts each day to get things rolling and to see the different perspectives on various topics in gaming, pop-culture, media, and fandoms.

The prompt for today (which I’ll tackle tomorrow) from Easha and Poppy over at Glittering Girly Gwent Gaming [https://girlygwent.emjer.com/] is:

What is your earliest memory related to one of your core fandoms?

I’m hoping to put on my thinking cap tonight as I sleep to figure out what to say.
