Rings and Baseballs in 2022

With the turning of the calendar, I am thinking about changing things up slightly in 2022. As usual, I’m always coming up with grand plans that rarely seem to pan out, but I’m hoping to carry through with my ideas this time around.

The central concept I am trying to dive into is that I would like to focus on building out rambles regularly here and maybe pushing some of my less stable grand plans elsewhere. If I keep my stuff going here, I am hopeful that I can focus better. We’ll see how it goes, but for now, I am hopeful.

So, Happy New Year. I am looking forward to having some fun this year, and while most of my gaming has tended to focus on games that have been around for a few years or more, I think that’s really where a lot of the fun lies.

Right now, I am focusing on playing LOTRO quite a bit and have been having fun on Treebeard. We’re due for an upgrade soon as the first expansion is getting ready to drop.

As usual, I am nowhere near the level cap, and I missed out on all the fun endgame frivolity, but I am looking forward to breaking out of Bree-Land and heading further into the story. I may be a bit late, but I’ve been having fun.

I’ve also kicked off a reset to my Mulligan 2021 season in Out of the Park Baseball 22. Somehow I started too many transactions in the previous season that I lost track of. I could not figure out where to place the pitching and hitting coaches I hired in my minor league system, and I felt really confused about where things were headed. Since I had only played one actual game, I figured I could restart without too much headache.

Anyway, these are the games I’m focused on for now. I’m sure I’ll expand as the year moves on, and hopefully, they start selling PS5s on a regular basis finally. In any case, I’m ready to dive into the new year.
